The handle is basically a bunch of rope wrapped around the extended metal of the sword, which isn't an ideal handle if you're going "slashing and dashing", but it certainly looks cool. On the bright side, it's a full tang sword, which helps provide durability to the sword's overall performance.

To begin with, when I received the sword in the mail and pulled it out of its packaging, I was in awe. The sword certainly exceeded my expectations in the way it looks. It has a great look to it, and a unique-looking handle which, sadly, doesn't feel too comfortable while holding the sword.
The blade itself looks amazing, and actually comes pretty sharp for a sword priced at under $20. It's fairly thin, which gives the sword a lighter feel, but sacrifices effectiveness. The sword is a bit flimsy, so it can't be used for hacking down anything too sturdy, else I fear it might break.
Overall, this sword gets 4 Stars as my rating, and the Amazon average is about the same.
But, if you're asking whether or not you should buy this, I say yes. A decent sword for under $20? How could you go wrong?
